Dr. Farida Virani from MET Institute of Management was invited as an Expert to present, during one day conference on the theme "Corporate Culture & Spirituality". The conference was organized by National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM - India's largest and oldest HR Association) - Mumbai on 14th December 2012 at the ISCON temple, Juhu, Mumbai. Her topic was 'Work Place Spirituality - A research perspective.' Through her presentation she gave insights on how Spirituality has now become an essential process in Management and how Corporate have reaped benefits of 'Doing Well, by Doing Good'. It is observed that most successful people face daunting situations each day and are faced with pressures to meet varied demands of all stakeholders. This results in low morale, fatigue, stress. Many such people seek solace in 'spirituality'. The conference was aimed at providing useful interventions and strategies to attain a work life balance in times of cut throat competition in the corporate world and to maintain competitive business advantage, higher revenues, bigger bottom line, meeting employee and customer as well as shareholders' expectations. The Conference brought together a wonderful bouquet of very well respected, well known and revered Spiritual, Corporate and Academic Leaders.
