My Own Work/Life Balance Struggle – in my two decade long career in the academic, corporate and non-profit worlds, I was continually faced with my own work/life balance challenges. I learned a lot about the importance of self-care and I am passionate about helping professionals integrate these practices and intentionally choose how they want to spend their time. I coach my clients on how to be aware of their responses to adversities in their lives and enhance their adversity quotient.

In a healthy relationship, the people involved should care about each other enough to be committed to each other’s well-being. Toxic weapons such as cursing, name calling, degrading comments, constant criticism, blaming and manipulation are some manifestations of destructive emotions in relationships. Many research findings state; one of the many reasons of an abusive relationship is the abuser’s desire for power and control. This workshop will help couples evaluate the health of their relationships, diagnose the relationship draining emotions and learn strategies to manage these emotions better for a healthy, harmonious relationship.
